THE STORY BEHIND THIS TEE
Laozi wrote the Tao Te Ching in China around the sixth century BC. Chapter 16 describes the pattern of all things returning to their source, and ends with a simple observation about what persists.
Things that are in accord with the Tao endure.
The floppy disk held 1.44 megabytes. It was the dominant storage format for roughly two decades. It is now a save icon on software that has never been near a floppy disk. The label is blank. Whatever was written on it is gone.
Things that are in accord with the Tao endure.
