Return and Refund Policy — Stoic Samurai Society
Every item is made to order. Nothing is printed until you order it, and each piece is fulfilled by a third-party production partner.
Returns and Exchanges
Because each item is made on demand, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:
- Wrong size ordered
- Wrong colour ordered
- Change of mind
- Buyer's remorse
Review the product details, sizing, and your shipping address before placing an order. Once it's in, it's in.
This section does not apply to customers in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein — see EU Right of Withdrawal below.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, contact us within 2 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos showing the issue
- A short description of the problem
If the claim is approved, we'll arrange a replacement or refund.
Customers in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein have additional statutory rights for defective or non-conforming goods that extend beyond this window — see EU Right of Withdrawal below.
Refunds
Refunds are only offered for:
- Damaged items
- Manufacturing defects
- Incorrect items received
Refunds are not offered for size, colour, or change of mind, except as set out in EU Right of Withdrawal below. Approved refunds go to your original payment method.
Return Shipping
For approved claims involving damaged, defective, or incorrect items, you usually won't need to send anything back unless we ask. We do not cover return shipping for non-defective items.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Orders move to production quickly. We can't guarantee a change or cancellation once one is placed. Contact us as soon as possible and we'll check whether it's still possible.
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. This right applies in addition to, and overrides, the Returns and Exchanges section above.
This period begins on the day you (or someone you designate) receives the goods. To exercise this right, you can submit a return or cancellation request directly through your account, or contact us at hello@stoicsamuraisociety.com with a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, including your order number, before the 14-day period ends.
If you withdraw, we will refund the price paid, including standard delivery charges, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have shipped them back. If you return part of an order, we will refund the price of the returned items plus a proportional share of the delivery charge.
You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless we have agreed otherwise in advance. Goods should be returned unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition. If the goods show signs of use beyond what is reasonably needed to check their fit and appearance, we may deduct an amount reflecting the reduction in value.
Separately, if goods you receive are damaged, defective, or not as described, you may also have a statutory legal guarantee of conformity for up to two years from delivery under the law of your country of residence. This is in addition to, and unaffected by, the withdrawal right described above. Contact us at hello@stoicsamuraisociety.com to raise a claim.
Shipping and Fulfilment
Products are fulfilled by a third-party production partner and may ship from a location different from our business address. Processing and shipping times are estimates.
International Orders
Shipping times vary by destination. Customs duties, import taxes, and related fees are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise. Duties and customs charges are not refundable.
