THE STORY BEHIND THIS TEE
The garden is made of smartphones. He is still raking.
A robed figure in a kasa kneels in the classical meditative posture of the zen garden tradition — rake in hand, attention complete, practice unbroken. The garden he tends is made entirely of smartphones, arranged in concentric circles in the sand. Three maple leaves drift around him. He has noticed them. He has let them pass.
The seal reads 心静不乱. Heart quiet, undisturbed. The garden does not ask whether its materials are appropriate. The practice does not require approval from the objects it tends.
