The Great Untangling

The cables are tangled. The octopus is equally confused. The work continues.
A samurai in full armour kneels over a massive tangle of cables — USB, USB-C, the full inventory of modern connectivity. The cables form the body of an octopus whose tentacles end in connectors. The octopus looms above with wide, bewildered eyes. It is not attacking. It is simply the shape that cable chaos takes when left unattended.
The samurai is untangling it. Not fighting it — untangling it. The distinction is the entire point.
The seal reads 整而不争. Ordering without fighting. From Laozi's Tao Te Ching. The cables will tangle again. The octopus will return. The practice is the untangling, not the permanent state of order that follows it, because that state does not exist.
