An onna-bugeisha in full dark armour sits surrounded by open shoe boxes, each bearing the kamon. She holds a high-heeled shoe in front of her. Assessing it with the same focus she applies to a newly forged blade. The naginata leans against the stack behind her. Her feet are bare. The assessment is ongoing.
The seal reads 実用第一. Practicality first. She already knows. She is being thorough anyway.
The verdict is not yet delivered. The direction is clear. The bare feet are not a concession. She would fight barefoot before she would fight in those.
